Cleveland State Softball suffered a couple of tough losses vs. Chattanooga State on Saturday afternoon in Cleveland, Tenn.

GAME 1-

In the first game, the Lady Cougars fell 11-3 in five innings. Makala Strickland drove in all three of the team's runs in the fourth-inning via a home run. Anna Yell, Kaylee Hughes, and Shayla Phillips also recorded a hit in the contest.

GAME 2-

In the second game, Cleveland State fell 8-4. The Lady Cougars were able to battle back to tie the game at 4-4 in the fourth inning of play, but were unable to overcome another Lady Tiger offensive surge. Amber Atkins and Yell recorded two hits in the game, while Katie Davis drove in two runs and Katie Dinger drove in one.

The Lady Cougars will be back in action tomorrow as they travel to NCAA Division III opponent Maryville College in Maryville, Tenn. First pitch is set for 1:00 PM.
