The Lady Cougars couldn't avoid the big inning by their hosts as they dropped a doubleheader to Walters State by scores of 12-3 and 11-6.  Trailing 5-3 in the first game, the hosts struck for seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to end the game, while a six run third inning in the second game doomed the Lady Cougars in that contest.

The Lady Cougars had five hits in the first game with Madison Miner stroking a double and Makala Strickland ripping a solo shot for the only extra base hits.  Anna Yell took the loss as she surrendered five earned runs on seven hits and six walks in four innings of work.  

They had ten hits in the second game led by Katie Dinger with three hits.  Kaylee Hughes had two hits while Amber Atkins had a double in the game.  Shayla Phillips would have 2 RBIs with a single and a sacrifice fly.  Macy Smith took the loss, going three innings with ten hits with eight runs (three earned), and one walk.
