CLEVELAND STATE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL | COUGARS WIN HOME OPENER

 Cougars win home opener 80-66 vs Gadsden State Community College on Thursday Night, for a non-conference match up. Cleveland State did not disappoint. The Cougars led throughout the entire game never letting their foot off the gas.

Sophomore Forward, Emma Harig led the team with a double-double recording 30 PTS, 20 REB, and 1 AST. Sophomore, Kierstdn Hudson came off the bench recording 14 PTS, 2 REB, and 6 AST. While, Sophomore point guard, AJ Harrell recorded 10 PTS, 7 REB and 3 AST, Sophomore guard Kyisha Dalton recorded 12 PTS, 7 REB, 2 AST, Sophomore guard De'Zah Lacy with 6 PTS, 9 REB and 5 AST, and Sophomore guard Nicky Jones with 3 PTS, 1 REB, and 2 AST.

The Cougars are now 2-0 on the season and will be back in action for the second home game of the season Saturday, November 6 at 2:pm as they take on Southern Crescent Community College out of Georgia.
