Lady Cougar basketball player Asjah Harrell was recognized as a NJCAA All American this week.  The announcement came from the national organization on Tuesday.  She was one of two athletes from the TCCAA/NJCAA Region VII to earn the accolades.  This is the second honor from the NJCAA as Harrell earned All-American recognition her freshman year.

Harrell, who is a sophomore guard from Perry High School in Perry (GA), averaged 15.3 points this season.  She appeared in all 24 games this season.  She had 7.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 3.2 steals a contest.  

For her career, she averaged 17.3 points a game to go with 5.1 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.2 assists in 64 games.
