Cougar Softball is set to open the TCCAA/NJCAA Region VII Tournament vs Dyersburg State on Sunday May 7 at 3:00 p.m. CST. The double elimination tournament is being played at Volunteer State and is scheduled to finish on Thursday May 11 with the winner earning a berth to the NJCAA National Tournament.
As a number five seed in the tournament Cleveland State finished the regular season with an overall record of 31-16 while Dyersburg seeded fourth finished with a 30-14 record.
