Women's Basketball Serves Ronald McDonald House

Women's Basketball completed another day of service on Sunday, assisting with the Ronald McDonald House's Autumn Children's Festival for their third straight year. This year, the Lady Cougars provided hands to help with cleanup after the event.

Head Coach Evelyn Thompson, who is a huge advocate for serving Cleveland and the surrounding areas, had this to say of her team's excellent effort at the event. "I am so proud of the dedication and effort the team put forth. They certainly set the bar high. It is such a joy to see how enthusiastic they are about community service. To see them grow into the role of committed service members makes me proud. It gives the community an opportunity to see what I see every day from these young women."

Thompson also expressed gratitude to help the organization. "We are privileged to work with organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House Charities that do so much good for so many. We are just glad to be a small part of it all."

Thompson and the Lady Cougars will play their first regular season game on Nov. 3 at Wallace State. Tip off is set for 3:00 ET.
