A fourth straight win was secured for Women's Basketball on Saturday afternoon, as the Lady Cougars earned a 81-66 victory over Southwest Tennessee in Memphis, Tenn.

Head Coach Evelyn Thompson raved about the performance of Za'kkria Robinson and how big her contribution was in the win. Robinson posted a career-highs with 23 points and three blocks while also grabbing nine rebounds and two steals. "I am so proud of Za'kkria," said Thompson. "She came up big for us."

Three other Cleveland State players reached double-digits in points. Asjah Harrell recorded a double-double, scoring 20 points and dishing out a career-best 11 assists. She was also six-of-12 from behind the arc. Kyeshia Dalton scored 12 while also posting six rebounds and, as Thompson shared, "some tenacious defense." Britnay Gore also posted 10 points of her own and grabbed eight boards. "To have four people in double figures and everyone scoring shows the teamwork in this win," said Thompson. Thompson was also proud of the fact her team had 23 total assists.

The Lady Cougars also shot 50 percent from the three-point line. Both Kaitlyn Goodman and Cassidy Nihoff contributed to that percentage, knocking down two "very important three-pointers each," as Thompson relayed.

The win brings the Lady Cougars to 14-6 overall and 10-2 in the TCCAA. They will be back in action on Wednesday for a huge battle at home with Walters State. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 ET.
