Women's Basketball posted a ferocious comeback on Wednesday evening, defeating Roane State by a tight final score of 77-75.
The Lady Cougars were down by as many as 13 points to the Lady Raiders midway through the second quarter, but stormed back to take a 56-54 on a Britnay Gore layup shortly after the start of the fourth quarter.
Asjah Harrell had another high-scoring game, leading the team with 22 points. She also led the team with six assists. Gore had another double-double, posting 17 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.
The win, Cleveland State's third straight, brings them to 13-6 overall and 9-2 in conference play. They will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Southwest Tennessee. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 ET.
