Britnay Gore earned recognition for her strong week on the court from the conference, earning TCCAA Player of the Week.
Gore scored 26 points, a career-high, paired with 15 rebounds in Saturday's win over Volunteer State, which both led all scorers. She also had 20 points and 13 rebounds in Tuesday's game at Snead State.
"I am so proud of the hard work that Britnay has given us," said Head Coach Evelyn Thompson. "It is reflected in her selection as TCCAA Player of the Week... This thread of hard work, dedication and commitment can be seen in all aspects of her life. The person that you see on the court is the same hardworking woman you see in the classroom. I am looking forward to seeing her improve every week and earn more of these honors."
