Women's Basketball recorded another conference win on Saturday afternoon, defeating Volunteer State 76-42 on their home floor.

Cleveland State was dominant in the game, never allowing the Lady Pioneers to take a lead. The Lady Cougars lead by as many as 38 points, a lead that came towards the end of the third quarter. They also dominated the turnover category as well, forcing 25 Volunteer State turnovers while just committing 10 total of their own, while scoring 25 points off of those turnovers to the Lady Pioneers' 12.

Asjah Harrell led all scorers with 26 total points and also in assists with seven. Britnay Gore recorded another double-double on her season, scoring 19 points and grabbing a team-high 10 boards. Cassidy Nihoff led all players with six total steals while also scoring seven points, dishing out two assists, and grabbing three rebounds.

The win puts Cleveland State at 12-6 overall and 8-2 in conference play. The Lady Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday as they play host to Roane State. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 ET.
