Brock's Bombers Take Game One of Cleveland State Baseball Intrasquad World Series

Brock Harvey walked it off for Brock's Bombers to win game one of the intrasquad World Series.

Harvey hit a single driving in the winning run in extra innings to help take a 10-9 victory.

M. Hoffmeister pitched the final inning for the Bombers allowing one hit and no runs to earn the win. The team used five pitchers overall with T. Vinson also performing well in his 2/3 of an inning of work allowing no runs and no hits to finish the fifth inning.

B. Trammell led the way hitting homering twice while driving in three runs on three hits. N. Dunfee also had a day going 3-4 from the plate scoring twice and driving in a run. D. Owens went 3-4 as well.

The Burger Boys were no slouches at the plate with both N. Iezzi and T. Nettles hitting home runs. Iezzi went 3-4 driving in two. Nettles went 2-3 with two RBI while walking once and scoring three runs. Lead-off man K. Collins doubled and tripled also driving in two.

The Burger Boys look to even up the series today. First pitch is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
