Brock's Bombers took the game and the series yesterday afternoon to win the Cleveland State baseball intrasquad World Series.
The Bombers defeated the Burger Boys 2-1 to take a 3-1 series win.
Initially the series was set to be a best of seven, but was decided to conclude as a five-game series.
G. Orr pitched a gem going five innings allowing one run on three hits while striking out four and walking one. L. Bryson closed the game out earning the victory in the final two innings allowing no runs on two hits.
Bryson Trammell hit a solo home run in the first inning to put the Bombers on the board, then homered again in the seventh to clinch the series win.
This game closes out the fall season for the Cougars. They will play their first official game in early February.
