The Cougars will be the home team in their first game of the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA) Region 7 Baseball Tournament.

Cleveland State (33-18, 14-13) earned the four seed and will play the fifth seed Southwest Tennessee Saluqis (26-27, 12-23).

The two met in the conference opener at Cougar Field in Cleveland State with Southwest Tennessee winning the first two games of the series in a double header 11-9 and 3-2 before the Cougars finished the series with an 8-0 shutout of the Saluqis.

First pitch is scheduled for Sunday, May 5 at 11 a.m. eastern/10 a.m. central time. The game, along with the entire baseball tournament, can be watched live here.

The tournament is being played at Columbia State Community College this season at 1665 Hampshire Pike Columbia, TN 38401. Admission is $10 per person each day with children eight and under free of charge.

Each team will play the next day with the winner's first pitch at 4:30 p.m. and the loser playing with another early morning first pitch of 11 a.m. eastern /10 a.m. central time.
