Cougars Finish Sixth in the Stitch Golf Sandhills Invitational

Cleveland State finished sixth out of the thirteen schools competing in the Stitch Golf Sandhills Invitational in Pinehurst, NC, home to the 2024 US Open.

Owen Kreuger led the way for the Cougars with a seventh-place finish overall shooting six over par.

Andrew Mccarver had the Cougars best day overall shooting an even par on day two, finishing eight over par overall in the tournament, good for twelfth.

Reese Mcfatter was 27th overall in the field with a score of +16 while Kadyn Copeland was in forty-eighth shooting +30.

The next tournament for Cleveland State comes March 25 & 26 when the team participates in The Calhoun Spring Classic at The Burning Tree Country Club in Decatur, AL.
