The 2024 Cleveland State baseball schedule is released and opening day is February 2.
The Cougars open their season at Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College for a three-game series. The month of February features 16 non-conference games.
After wrapping up their first series the team takes a quick road trip to play a game at Gordon State College on February 7.
Cleveland State's home opener comes in their third series of the season when they host Vincennes University in a double header on February 10 for the first of two in a three-game set.
The Cougars hit the road again on February 13 playing at Calhoun Community College in Decatur, Alabama.
Cuyahoga Community College comes to town for a five-game series starting on February 17. Cleveland State finishes the month off at home with a three-game series against Lincoln Trail College beginning February 23.
Conference play opens at the beginning of March with Cleveland State remaining at home for a three-game series against Southwest Tennessee. The Cougars then hit the road to play Georgia Highlands College on Tuesday, March 5 before playing a road conference series at Dyersburg State that weekend.
Gordon State College plays at Cougar Field on March 13 and Calhoun Community College comes to town March 26 to finish off the month. In between those two games Cleveland State travels to Roane State the weekend of the 22nd for a three-game series.
April consists of all conference games and opens at home when the Cougars hosting Chattanooga State starting April 5. The Cougars then go to Columbia State on April 12 for a three-game set.
Cleveland State's final home games will come against Walters State starting April 19. To end the regular season the Cougars travel to Volunteer State starting April 26.
On May 4-9 the Cougars travel to Columbia State to play in the Region VII Double Elimination Tournament with the winner earning a berth to the National Tournament scheduled to be played in Grand Junction, Colorado, May 25 – June 1.
