Cleveland State Hires New Athletic Trainer

Cleveland State has a new athletic trainer and her name is Ariel Beam.

Ariel was a ballet dancer most of her life and decided to become an athletic trainer after she received improper care for an injury. She made a promise to treat all her athletes with respect and give them access to the quality care that they all deserve.

She is originally from Athens, GA. In 2018 she graduated with her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Georgia Gwinnett College. She then graduated from Lee University in 2022 with her master's degree in Athletic Training.

During her time at Lee University she was able to work with the track and field team at the University of Georgia and volunteered at the annual Manning Passing Academy in Louisiana.

Before becoming the new athletic trainer at Cleveland State Community College, she was one of the athletic trainers covering the track and field team at Samford University and served as head athletic trainer at Pelham High School.

Ariel will be at all of the Cleveland State home games helping any injured player as well as helping our athletes recover from their injuries properly.
