
Tigers Defense Stifles Cleveland State
Cleveland State couldn't get it going offensively tonight. Chattanooga State (4-0, 2-0) limited the Cougars (0-4, 0-2) to 27.8 percent shooting from the field taking the game 73-42.

The Tigers fared much better from the field shooting 45.5 percent with Norah Walkup leading the way going 8-11 scoring a game high 16 points. Chattanooga State had four players finish with double figures in scoring.
Maiya Moore put in 13 points for a team high with Dejanae Dennis-Cassanova scoring 11 as the two Cougars that finished in double figures.
Mar'Nazha Houston grabbed a game high 14 rebounds for Cleveland State, she is currently third in the conference in that category averaging 9.3 per game.
Cleveland State looks to pick up their first win of the season this Saturday when they travel to Dyersburg State (1-3, 0-1). Tip-off is set for 3:00 p.m. est.
