
Cougars Take Down Motlow State for First Conference Win
Cleveland State picked up their first conference win this season. The Cougars (2-7, 1-5) went to Motlow State (0-6, 0-10) taking the road game 54-50.

"It was a gritty win," head coach Ayana McWilliams said. "We struggled offensively, but got hot at the right time."
Cleveland State went into the third quarter down three, but outscored the Bucks by seven in the fourth.
Addison Garner led the way scoring 20 points for the Cougars. Mar'Nazha Houston, the conference's leading rebounder and coming off being named the NJCAA player of the week, dominated the boards bringing down 24 rebounds.
"The girls locked in, executed and got the look we wanted, tough!" McWilliams said.
Next up the Cougars host Volunteer State (3-10, 1-4) this Saturday, December 7 at 2 p.m.
