
Cougars Lose at Home to Snead State
Cleveland State lost at home to Snead State Saturday afternoon. The Cougars (4-9, 2-5) fell 69-44 in their first game back from winter break.

The Cougars (4-9, 2-5) fell 69-44 in their first game back from winter break.
It was also the first game of the season for sophomore Jarnyri Maddox coming back from injury. She was able to put up four points in her season debut. Her being back will help the team in the second half of the season.
Cleveland State did go on a run to end the first half getting the game to within nine points at halftime, then they were able to get the game to within five points during the third quarter, but Snead State started pulling away late in the third and in the fourth.
Ziara Thompson led the team with 11 points and was the only Cougar to score in double figures.
Next up Cleveland State takes a road trip to Roane State (3-7, 3-3) on Wednesday with tip-off set for 5:30 p.m.
