
Cougars Can't Get Past Chattanooga State
Cleveland State couldn't bring home a win from Chattanooga State.
The Cougars (5-14, 3-9) kept in striking distance throughout the game, but ultimately lost 57-47 against the second place Tigers (14-7, 9-3).
Ziara Thompson helped Cleveland State remain in the game scoring a team high 19 points. Jarnyri Maddox also scored in double figures with 12 points and was one rebound away from a double-double.
Chattanooga State's Rachel Burkhalter came in off the bench scoring a game high 20 points while starter Livia O'Dea helped keep their lead throughout the game putting in another 10 for the Tigers.
Next up the Cougars host Dyersburg State (11-8, 8-4). The game is scheduled for this Saturday with a 2 p.m. tip-off time.
