Cleveland State Volleyball saw their conference record drop to 0-2 as they lost a four set match to Roane State on Tuesday, September 13. Played in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium on the campus of Cleveland State the Cougars won the third set 25-22 but lost sets one, two and four; 25-18, 25-9 and 25-17.
With and overall season match mark of 4-3 the Cougars travel to Covenant College for match play on Thursday September 15. The next conference match is away at Walters State on Tuesday, September 20.
In the highly competitive Volleyball league of the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association, Cleveland State is bunched together with Chattanooga State, Walters State and Roane State as the Cougars record positions them two matches out of first place and one match out of second/third places.
