Cougar Volleyball Takes Match Loss at Trevecca Nazarene

On Friday September 30 Cougar Volleyball took the long bus ride to Trevecca Nazarene University and lost a three-set match to Trevecca 25-19, 25-9 and 25-19.  The loss dropped Cleveland State to an overall season record of 6-7.

 

Never able to get on a run as a team, the Cougars were led in Kills by Katheryn Kibler and Jazlyn Butler with five each followed by Ella Johnson with four.  Taylor Hancock had 12 Assists and chipped in with four Service Aces while Madison Husted had 10 digs along with Kacie Hughes and Johnson who had eight and six respectively.

 

Cleveland State returns home on Wednesday October 5 for a conference match up vs second place Walters State and then again on Thursday October 6 against Covenant College.  Home games are played in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium on the campus of Cleveland State.

 

Admission is $8 per person with no charge for Cleveland State students
