Cougar Volleyball moved their overall record to 7-8 by beating Covenant College in a three-set match on Thursday October 6 in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium on the campus of Cleveland State.
With set scores of 25-11, 25-18 and 25-14 the Cougars were led by the Kill shots of Ella Johnson with 12, Brianna Parks at seven and Kathryn Kibler with six. Johnson and Taylor Hancock each had 15 assists while Madison Husted put down five Service Aces.
In what can be classified as Digg efficiency Husted had 23, Johnson and Kacie Hughes had 12 each while Hancock had 11.
On Tuesday October 11 Cleveland State travels to Harriman TN to take on Roane State in a conference match up with a start time set for 6:30 p.m. The Cougars next home contest is scheduled for Wednesday October 12 vs Treveccaa Nazarene with match time slated for the usual 6:30 p.m. start.
