Cougar Volleyball Takes Four-Set Loss at Reinhardt University

Volleyball Regular Season Ends in Five-Set Loss to Bryan

On Thursday October 20 Cougar Volleyball travelled to Reinhardt University and lost a highly contested road match winning the second set 25-21 while losing sets one, three and four 25-22, 25-17 and 25-22.  With one more match on the regular season schedule Cleveland State has an overall record of 7-13.

 

In what was a back and forth match Ella Johnson put down 10 Kills while Kathryn Kibler and Jazlyn Butler had six and five each.  Taylor Hancock and Johnson had 11 and eight Assists respectively.  The Cougars were all over the floor as Madison Husted had 18 Diggs followed closely by Hancock who had 17.  Johnson and Kacie Hughes split 24 Diggs evenly each with 12.  Brianna Parks had five Service Aces.

 

The Cougars travel to Bryan College on Monday October 24 for the last match of the regular season which leads to the conference tournament played at Chattanooga State on Friday October 28 and Saturday October 29. Cleveland State is scheduled to open the single elimination tournament on Friday night.
