Second-inning Rally Sparks
Win for Cougars 6-0
A four-run explosion in the second inning led CSCC Cougars to a 6-0 win in seven innings over Roane State on Tuesday.
Janson Roberson racked up three RBIs on one hit for CSCC Cougars. He doubled in the second inning.
Michael Dike's eight strikeouts helped CSCC Cougars to the victory. CSCC Cougars' pitcher tossed five innings of shutout ball and allowed only two hits.
Mathew Ledbetter ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
