Cleveland State's hosted five games this season at Cougar Field and haven't lost yet.
Today the Cougars scored 18 runs combined in their double header sweep against Southwest Tennessee CC.
In game one, Jake Wyrick pitched a complete game two hit shut out, striking out 11 and walking four. The Cougars scored six with three of those runs driven in by first baseman Caleb Longley.
Longley hit two home runs in game two and drove in five runs, helping the Cougars power past the Saluquis 12-4. Cleveland State hit three homers in the bottom of the third. Colton Morgan earned the victory pitching the final four innings allowing two hits and no runs.
Cleveland State (10-6, 3-4) puts their undefeated home record on the line tomorrow in game three of the series versus Southwest Tennessee. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
