Cleveland State couldn't bring home a victory in their conference opener at Chattanooga State.

At halftime the game was tied at 39, but the Tigers took the lead and the game in the second half winning 91-78.

James Williams for Chattanooga State (4-0, 1-0) led all scorers with 32 points. Lucas Brown, Jr. added a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds.

Kameron Clark scored a team high 23 points for Cleveland State (2-1, 0-1). Hasani Rivera was one rebound away from a double-double finishing with 10 points and nine boards.

The biggest discrepancy came from behind the three-point line where Chattanooga State went 10-22 and the Cougars finished 3-9. The Tigers also scored 33 points off Cleveland State's 21 turnovers with the Cougars scoring just 17 points from Chattanooga State's 19 turnovers.

Cleveland State will look to pick up a conference win this Saturday when they host Southwest Tennessee Community College. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
