Different court, same story.

Cleveland State (10-8, 6-5) defeated Volunteer State (3-20, 2-11) by the same amount of points as in their first meeting, this time winning 77-73 at their place.

Just like their first meeting, the Cougars were down 38-34 at halftime, but rallied to take the victory in the second half.

Julius King, Jr. led the way offensively scoring 33 points. Duvall Price finished with a double-double putting in 11 points and brining down 10 boards.

Caleb Chapman was one rebound shy of a double-double and scored 15 while Thaddeus Johnson also tallied double figures with 11 points.

Next up for the Cougars is a home game next Saturday hosting Jackson State (3-15, 2-11), a team they defeated on their court back on January 13, winning 65-51. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
