Tonight's game features two of the top five scorers in the conference. The Cougars look to take down the conference's second place team Chattanooga State.

Tonight's game features two of the top five scorers in the conference.

The Cougars look to take down the conference's second place team Chattanooga State.

Cleveland State (8-6, 4-3) hosts the Tigers (12-4, 6-2) in the first of two meetings between the teams this season.

The Cougars are looking to bounce back after a lost to Columbia State at home this past Saturday while the Tigers could fall down to fifth in the conference with a loss tonight.

The Cougars average 77.8 points per game compared to the Tigers 97.4. Chattanooga State also holds the advantage in the rebounding department with 41.3 per contest compared to Cleveland State's 39.5.

Julius King, Jr. leads the way offensively for the Cougars averaging 19.7 points per game. King ranks fifth in the conference in points scored and is fourth in the conference at 45.8 percent shooting from behind the three-point line. He is one of three Cleveland State players averaging double figures in scoring.

Lucas Brown, Jr. scores 19.8 points per game leading Chattanooga State and is fourth in the conference in points scored. He is one of three Tigers averaging double figures in scoring with James Williams putting in 18.9 per contest.

Each team also features two of the top five shooters overall in the conference. Chattanooga State's Janerus Snipe is the league's leader in field goal percentage at 72.7 with the Cougars Hasani Rivera ranking fifth overall at 58.2.
