
Cougars Pick Up Road Win at Jackson State
The Cougars jumped out to an early lead at Jackson State and never let them in the game. Cleveland State (7-5, 3-2) was up 17 points at halftime and the Green Jays (2-7, 1-4) couldn't put together a run to make it close.

The Cougars leading scorer, and the conference's fourth leading scorer Julius King, Jr. led the team offensively scoring a team high 23 points. Thaddeus Johnson and Caleb Chapman also scored in double figures.
Cleveland State collectively shot 50 percent from behind the three-point line and caused Jackson State to turn it over 18 times on path to their 65-51 victory.
The two teams will meet again later in the year at Cleveland State on Saturday, February 17.
Up next for the Cougars is a home game against Roane State (10-4, 4-1) on Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
