Cleveland State went into halftime up fourteen points and walked away with a 77-68 home victory over Dyersburg State today. The Cougars (12-10, 8-7) were again without their leading scorer for the third straight game, but this time they pulled through with a win.

Four players scored in double figures for Cleveland State with Duvall Price putting in a team high 20 points. Thaddeus Johnson wasn't far behind with 18 while Kameron Clark, Caleb Chapman and Hasani Rivera each scored 10.
The Eagles (2-20, 1-14) had three players in double figures with Antonio Gause scoring a game high 23 points and Ethan Tolbert putting together a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
With the win the Cougars clinch finishing no worse than sixth in the conference with a shot at taking down the two teams in front of them in their next two games.
Next up for Cleveland State is a home game this Wednesday against Motlow State (15-13, 10-6), a team they defeated a month ago 88-82 on the road. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
