Cleveland State Baseball suffered a sweep at the hands of Walters State this afternoon, falling in both games of the Wednesday doubleheader in Morristown, Tenn.

GAME 1-

In the first game, the Cougars fell 24-3 in five innings. Catcher Ryan McCarthy drove in all three Cleveland State runs on a three-run home run and was two-for-three with a run scored in the game. First baseman Reese Plemons also recorded three hits, going three-for-three in the contest. 

GAME 2-

In the second game, Cleveland State suffered a 13-1 loss. Center fielder Lance Dockery drove in the Cougars' run on a home run and went one-for-three in the game.

The Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday, Mar. 3 as they travel to Roane State to face the Raiders. First pitch in the doubleheader is set for 12:00 PM.
