The Cougars returned home Wednesday afternoon to face the Walters ssenators in another doubleheader. They fell twice to the nationally ranked Senators by scores of 9-4 and 14-3.
They managed six hits in the first game as ryan McCarthy had tow hits. J.D. Day had a double and Kenny Naysmith had a solo home run in the game. Bryce Jenkins took the loss as three Cougar pitchers allowed eight earned runs on seven hits and 10 walks. they struck out eight hitters.
They had 11 hits in the second game as Yosuany Herrera-Valdes had three hits with a double. Lance Dockery had two hits with a single and a triple, and Bryce Jenkins had a home run. Daniel Crabtree took the loss in the second as Cleveland pitchers allowed 11 earned runs on 13 hits and six walks. They struck out five hiters.
