The TCCAA recently announced the selections for the All TCCAA Conference baseball team.  The team was selected by votes from the league coaches.  Cleveland's ryan McCarthy was one of two catchers selected to the squad by that vote.

McCarthy, a freshman catcher from Knoxville, batted .323 in 40 games this year.  He had four doubles and one triple to go with a team high eight home runs and 46 RBIs.  

He had an on base percentage of .423 with a slugging percentage of .565.  He had a total of 40 hits and 30 runs scored.  As the primary catcher on the Cougar's squad, he had a fielding perentage of .987 with only 4 errors in 301 total chances.
