
Cougars Release 2023 Baseball Schedule
Cleveland State Community College baseball coach Mike Policastro released their 2023 schedule on Tuesday.
The Cougars' opening day is set for Saturday, February 4 at home vs. Gordon State College. The doubleheader, scheduled for 12 p.m. ET.
They will play 30 home games and have 56 games scheduled for the 2023 season.
The schedule will feature new opponents to the Cougars. They will travel to Swainsboro Georgia for a four-game series at East Georgia College on February 17 and 18. Also new to the schedule is Kirkwood Community College from Iowa, who travel to Cleveland for a home series on February 25-26. Calhoun Community College from Decatur Alabama makes their first appearance on the Cougars schedule with a road game on February 9.
Other non-conference games on the schedule are home and home series against Wallace State, with trips to Georgia Highlands and Carson Newman. Rounding out the schedule are home series versus Vincennes University and Brett Carroll Academy
The Cougars open up TCCAA conference play on March 3-4 vs. Dyersburg State, also traveling to Cleveland, will be Roane State March 17-18, Columbia State April 7-8, and Volunteer State April 21-22, rounding out the Cougars TCCAA home schedule.
The Cougars TCCAA road series will see them travel to Jackson State March 10-11, Motlow State March 24-25, Chattanooga State March 31-April 1, Walters State April 14-15 and Southwest Tennessee April 28-29.
