Cleveland State ended their five-game series against Cuyahoga with a statement.

The Cougars (7-4) put up 19 runs allowing the Triceratops to score one ending the game early in five innings due to the ten-run rule this afternoon.

Brock Harvey homered and drove in five runs on the game. Nate Dunfee doubled, drove in a run and scored twice. De'Yon Cannon went 3-4 scoring twice and driving in three runs.

Eric Enerlich earned the victory throwing two innings striking out two while allowing two hits and no runs. Tyler Pickens started the game pitching two innings allowing one earned run on two hits while striking out two and walking two. Ben Sompayrac pitched the final inning allowing no runs on one hit while striking out one.

For the Triceratops Kyle Koehler hit a solo homerun in the first inning for the team's only run and went 3-3 on the day.

With the win Cleveland State won the series against Cuyahoga 4-1.

Next up for the Cougars is a three-game series hosting Lincoln Trail College (1-7-1). The series starts Friday with first pitch scheduled for 2 p.m. Games two and three will be played in a double header on Saturday with first pitch scheduled for noon.
