The Cougars women's basketball team returns to the court today for their first game of 2024.
Cleveland State (4-5, 2-2) plays a conference game at Jackson State (7-1, 3-1) and are looking to snap a three-game losing streak.
This is the first of two meetings between the teams this season.
The Green Jays come into the game on a four-game winning streak and are tied in second place in the conference standings. With a win today the Cougars will jump ahead of Jackson State in the standings.
Cleveland State averages 56 points per game compared to the Green Jays conference leading 82.5. The Cougars hold the advantage in the rebound department with 41.8 per contest compared to Jackson State's 39.4.
