The Cougar women used double figure scoring from four players as they ran their winning streak to four in beating Snead State 77-56 on Monday December 12 moving their overall season record to

6-3.   

 

Head Coach Evelyn Thompson reflected on the 21 point win saying: "This team continues to impress me with their unselfishness and teamwork.  Our connectedness shows up in the little things that lead to big things…WINS!"

 

Cleveland State once again was led in points by conference scoring leader Tionna Baker who dropped in 19 while Anika Smith was good for 17.  Rounding out the big four on the game included Laney Bone with 16 and Latisha Parris who had 15.

 

The Cougars have one more game before Christmas break traveling to Alabama for a non-conference contest vs Wallace State Community College-Hanceville on Saturday December 17 with a start time of 3:00 p.m. EST.
