On Tuesday August 29 Cougar Volleyball travelled to Reinhardt University and lost in three sets 26-24, 25-12 and 25-18.  The first match of the 2023 season proved to be well played games as Coach Atnip said the following:  "The team played well together with much good effort.  With the fight they put up in sets one and three I am encouraged with the possibilities for this season."

Leading the way with Kills in the three games were Samantha Daniels with five and four from Ella Johnson.  Aare'anne Tillis and Jazlyn Butler added three each.  Taylor Hancock led the way in Digs with eight while it was Johnson again with 12 Assists and two Aces.

Next on the schedule for the Cougars is a trip to play Bryan College on Thursday August 31 at 6:30 p.m. EST then onto Andrew College for matches at 12 and 2 p.m. EST on Saturday September 2.
