Cleveland State volleyball plays their final conference match of the regular season this evening.
The Cougars travel to conference leading Walters State (20-7, 6-1), the same team they will play in the opening round of the postseason tournament.
The Senators clinched the top seed this past Tuesday when they defeated Chattanooga State for the second time 3-0.
In their next meeting Walters State will travel to Cleveland State (4-16, 1-6) where the tournament will be held starting Friday, October 27 with their match slated for 4:30 p.m.
The last time these two met was in Cleveland with the Senators taking the match 3-0.
After tonight's match there will be one more to get the Cougars prepared for the postseason tournament.
Cleveland State will host Trevecca Nazarene in their final regular season match on Monday, October 23 at 6:30 p.m. They lost to at their place the last time they met 3-0 earlier in the season on September 15.
It will be sophomore night October 23 where Cleveland State will recongize their four sophomores Ella Johnson, Samantha Daniels, Taylor Hancock and Jazlyn Butler.
