Cleveland State volleyball returns to conference play this evening.

Tonight the Cougars (3-12, 1-5) host Chattanooga State (9-5, 3-1).

This is the first time throughout the season that Cleveland State volleyball will play matches in back-to-back nights.

Last night the Cougars played a hard fought five set battle where they walked away victorious. Cleveland State has won two of their last three matches, and nearly took their match at conference leading Roane State last week.

The Tigers are on a two-game winning streak with one of those victories being at home against Roane State, giving them their first conference loss of the season.

The two teams met earlier in the season at Chattanooga State with the Tigers taking that match 3-0.

Overall Chattanooga State averages over two kills and two assists more per set compared to Cleveland State, but the Cougars hold the advantage with over five digs more per set.
