Cougar Volleyball is back in action on Thursday August 31 at 6:30 p.m. EST at Bryan College followed by two matches' vs Andrew College at Andrews on Saturday September 2 with start times of 12 and 2 p.m. EST.
Leading into the road games vs Bryan and Andrew, on the young 2023 season the Cougars lost their first match vs Reinhardt University in three spirited sets.
In the 2022 season Cleveland State played Bryan in two matches winning the first in three sets, 25-15, 25-17 and 25-16. In the second match the Cougars lost in a five set thriller, winning sets two and three with identical scores of 25-22 while losing set one 25-23, set four 25-22 and finally set five 15-11.
The Cougars bested Andrew College in their only scheduled match in 2022 winning in three sets, 25-13, 25-16 and 25-18.
Following the Andrew College games Cleveland State is set to play their first conference match vs Pellissippi State on Tuesday September 5 at Pellissippi with a start time of 6:30 p.m. EST.
