Cleveland State volleyball is playing in the Snead State Invitational in Boaz, AL today and tomorrow.

There are area a total of six teams competing in the tournament and the Cougars will play four of them over the next two days.

"I look forward to playing teams we have never played before," head coach Alizabeth Atnip said. "This will give us some fun games before we get focused on the region tournament."

After this tournament Cleveland State (3-13, 1-6) has just two more matches before hosting the conference tournament.

The Cougars will play today at 2 p.m. against Lawson and 6 p.m. against Pearl River. Then they will turn right back around and play tomorrow against NE Mississippi at 11 a.m. and then against Bevil State at 1 p.m.

"This is a four game tournament to get some last reps in," Atnip said. "We have not done this specific tournament before, but we try to schedule one per season. This will be the first time doing one this late in the year."

After this tournament Cleveland State travels to Walters State for their last conference match of the season next Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
