Men’s Basketball Comes up Short in First Game of the 2022-2023 Season

Out scored in both halves of their opening game of the 2022-2023 season Cougar Men's basketball lost 79-64 to visiting Snead State on Tuesday November 1.  Cleveland shot 33.9% from the field while Snead hit on 50% which essentially was the difference in the game.

 

The Cougars had three players in double figures led by K'Juan Banks who had 16 while Damon Fann had 12 with Joshua Horn dropping in 10.  Cleveland State managed just seven assists but pulled down a team total of 32 rebounds led by Caleb Chapman who had eight, Banks with seven and Landon Jacobs at five.

 

The Cougar men are back at competition playing Tennessee Valley Prep on Saturday November 5 at 4 p.m. in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium on the campus of Cleveland State.  Admission is an $8 per person charge for the public with no charge for Cleveland State students.
