Men’s Basketball Wins Road Conference Game vs Jackson State

Men’s Basketball Falls to Motlow State on the Road

The Cougars used the balanced scoring of four players in double figures as they beat Jackson State in a road conference contest 86-75 on Saturday February 11.  With five conference game remaining in the regular season schedule the win moved Cleveland State up the standings into a sixth-place tie with Southwest.

 

The Cougars were led by K'Juan Banks who had 16 points and seven rebounds and Joshua Horn who tossed in 15 points while pulling down five boards and handing out five assists.  Damon Fann and Jarrod Taylor rounded out the double figure foursome with 15 and 11 points respectively.

 

Cleveland State is set to host conference rival Roane State on Wednesday February 15 in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium with a scheduled starting time of 7:30 p.m.  Currently Roane has a 9-4 TCCAA record and is in fourth place.

 

There is an $8 admission charge for the public with no charge to the Cleveland State students.
