Men’s Basketball Loses Conference Road Game to Dyersburg State

Men’s Basketball Falls to Motlow State on the Road

With two games remaining in the regular season the Cougar men lost to Dyersburg State 71-59 on the road Saturday February 18 dropping their conference record to 5-11 good for seventh place in the TCCAA standings.

 

Outscored by 10 in the first half Cleveland State shot 41.2% from the field and pulled down 39 rebounds led by Michael Johnson who grabbed 11 on the game.  Damon Fann and K'Juan Banks scored in double figures with 12 and 11 point respectively.  Slade "Tre" Chatman and Johnson had 9 points each while Joshua Horn tossed in seven with Landon Jacobs going for six.

 

The Cougars play one more road conference game in the regular season traveling to Motlow State on Wednesday February 22.  Motlow is ninth in the conference with a 4-12 record.
